Hi, my name is Malin Falch and I'm a comic book artist and normal artist also. I have a comic book series called "Nordlys" (Northern Lights) and I also draw a lot of Breath of the Wild fan art.
For a long time now I've been feeling a little tired with social media sites being the only place for people to share their art, like Instagram and Twitter. The good thing about sites like these is that many people get to see your art, but the very bad thing is that there are a thousand distractions and irrelevant content the sites tries to feed you constantly.
I want people to view my art, but I don't want to get sucked onto everything else social media has to offer, because I get very easily distracted. I remember the good old days when people had art blogs, and I miss viewing people's work with more intention than what social media has to offer.
Maybe only 4 people will be able to find this blog and look at my art, but I really wanted to give this a try. I haven't been producing a lot lately, and I think one reason for that is performance anxiety and garnering a large following on my social medias, which means I think way too much about what people wanna see, and not what I wanna make.
Let's see if I can make something out of this!
